Time Out says

Better known, in former times, as Lang Park, Suncorp Stadium is the spiritual home of rugby league in Queensland and the host to big games in rugby union and soccer. State of Origin matches take place here, and the Brisbane Broncos, Queensland Reds and Brisbane Roar call it home. The stadium itself was erected in 2003, and has been hailed as one of the best in the world for viewing football. With a capacity of 52,500, Suncorp Stadium is on the site of a former cemetary that was taken over by the Brisbane Rugby League in 1957. Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney and U2 are among the major international acts to have performed here, and venue tours are offered (except in times of pandemic) that give an insight into the working of the venue and the history of the site. The stadium has no public parking, wedged in as it is between the CBD, the river, Milton Road and the railway line, so access is via public transport, with big events seeing large amounts of foot traffic streaming through Petrie Terrace from the CBD.
