What a find! It's takeaway only at this Western suburbs venue and there's not a burger or deep-fried nugget in sight. Instead, the gleaming glass cabinet is filled with salads of the non-mundane kind, and topped with buttery, flaky viennoiserie. The salad menu is as scrumptious as kale is good for you: say a Brussels sprout and kale Caesar with brioche crumb, or eggplant, zucchini and red pepper salad with pearls of cous cous, crunchy almonds and a creamy crumble of feta. There's a plethora of pulled meats to accompany, making Greens and Grains a saviour of meal-time sanity.
