His tireless dedication to growing, breeding and sourcing local produce is admirable: think local freshwater crays, prawns and fingerlings from nearby Tarome, and custom-made cheese from Annie at Emmos. On the property, you'll find a kitchen garden of epic proportions, beehives, smokehouse, preserving room, coal pit, rotisserie, free ranging chooks and Wessex Saddleback pigs destined for degustation and à-la-carte greatness on the menu at the homestead, or go alfresco on the verandah or under the shade of the sprawling fig tree in the garden.
