Time Out says

Powerhouse duo Leizl and Jonny are behind not one, but two big hitters in the Brisbane vegan scene. They run the Queensland Vegan Markets in Mount Gravatt, Hamilton and the Gold Coast, with the aim of changing misconceptions about vegan food. The markets are made up of an impressive array of family run vegan business, serving up everything from pizza, crepes, tacos and Korean fried cauliflower, to okonomiyaki, gozleme, burgers, soft serve ice cream, cupcakes and bubble tea. The markets also stock a range of cruelty free products, including toiletries, clothing and homewares. Their other venture, Fish Lane favourite Grassfed, serves up a range of seriously indulgent burgers, fries, shakes and sundaes. The meat replacements, cheese and ice cream taste so good that they are sure to satisfy vegans and omnivores alike. Sadly, Grassfed will be closing shop later in the year, so follow their socials to stay up to date with their food truck events.

Must try: eat to your heart’s content at the Queensland Vegan Markets, but a few of our favourites include Piante Pizza, Gozleme Universe, d.for.all and I Should Coco. At Grassfed, try the Aussie Burger, complete with ‘beef’ patty, vegan fried egg, cheese, pineapple, pickles and beetroot sauce, followed by a fudge my brownie sundae.
