One owner-chef is great; two is better. Brothers Dane and Morgan Hoey have joined forces to open their first restaurant venture, Wooden Horse in the heart of Clayfield. Start with Cloudy Bay clams, Kinkawooka mussels or the finest Spanish charcuteria, then a classic bistro-style pairing of pork and apple, pan-seared mulloway or house-made pasta. For dessert consider the brothers’ crème Catalana with cheeks of white peach and biscotti.
