Hawthorne Garage

We want to move to Hawthorne just so we can call Hawthorne Garage our local. Travelling Hawthorne Road, it's hard to miss with the red Chevrolet truck out front gleaming like a beacon. The Garage is a high church of deli lines, gourmet grocery and fresh produce, there's a coffee window serving DNA coffee and space out front where locals snack on bagels, quiches, baguettes and salads from the cabinet inside. Retail lines observe current trends so you can pick up a cold booch, aka kombucha, while slinging French cheese, local Stella May pâté and portions of flaky wood-roasted salmon into your shopping basket.
