The first ever APT Live is an ongoing program of artist performances and projects, starting on the opening weekend and animating QAG and GOMA throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Melati Suryodarmo performs I'm a ghost in my own house 2012, a 12 hour durational work in which she crushes hundreds of kilograms of charcoal as a transformative and symbolic act of life's energy.

Justin Shoulder and Bhenji Ra reimagine characters from traditional mythology and folklore in their processional performances moving between the two buildings.

Anida Yoeu Ali stages a series of curious social encounters in The Buddhist Bug 2015 by inhabiting a caterpillar-like costume developed out of the artist's fascination with Buddhism as a Khmer Muslim woman.
