COCO Laneway Series where we open up COCO and the Laneway for a pop up bars, food, dope tunes, and an unbeatable vibe.

After signing with Future Classic in early 2014, everyone’s favourite club-pup Basenji, aka Sebastian Muecke, finally delivered his highly anticipated first release on the label, ‘Heirloom’.
In 2015, with singles ‘Dawn’, ‘Heirloom’ & ‘Petals’ up his sleeve, Basenji announced details of his debut ‘Trackpad’ EP plus a new single ‘Can’t Get Enough’. It’s his first real exploration into the realm of twisted pop, combining his signature clap tracks and Kawaii-style production.

To celebrate the release, Basenji has announced his very own headline national tour in October 2015. The tour will involve a special visual collaboration at each show between Basenji and Sydney media collective Voena.

Whilst everyone else is trying to colour inside the lines, Arona Mane is creating a completely new palette.

After kickstarting the year with the Triple J premiered Things You Do (a Unearthed free download that would eventually make it’s way to HBO’s Ballers), Sydney-based producer Arona Mane has been steadily raising more than a few of the right eyebrows, as those in the know are starting to follow the bread crumb trail of funk, R&B and 80’s electronica he’s leaving behind.

Described by Australian dance heros The Aston Shuffle as a “smooth, 80’s tinged, disco kind of vibe,” the who’s who of the internet been rapidly tipping to their hat to the new producer, with the likes of Hypetrak, Dancing Astronaught, Stoney Roads, Spotify, Acid Stag, Nylon Mag and Pilerats amongst his most vocal supporters, with the almighty Diplo himself including Arona in his 2016 Best Of BBC Radio1 Mix.
