Reggae star Collie Buddz tours Australia in February for his first ever headline tour.

He started off as someone who wanted to hear a certain style of music and couldn’t find it. So he decided to take things into his own hands and just went on to make what he wanted to hear. This led to him becoming one of the most popular reggae artists around. A true visionary. Don’t miss this charismatic singer on his first ever Australian Tour!

Born in New Orleans and raised in Bermuda, Buddz built his career step by step, after learning his way around a music studio by the age of 12. After completing an Audio Engineering degree, he started releasing tracks and soon became well known name worldwide. Buddz’ tracks are filled with unforgettable hooks, thumping beats, groovy bass-lines and general feel-good vibes.

His hit single “Light It Up” saw him burst on to the world stage, and led him to work with famous producer Salaam Remi, who has previously worked with the lines of Fugees, Usher, Fergie, Amy Winehouse and more. It also led him to being signed by label imprint Louder Than Life, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. Further to this, Buddz has worked with artists such as Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon, Shaggy and many more, along with several festival appearances.

On the live front, Buddz is determined to give his fans the best show possible. His soulful reggae beats and catchy vocal lines ensures everyone is having a great time, getting into the groove, dancing and singing along and having the time of their lives. A falsetto that combines the singsong lover's rock appeal of a carnival crooner like Rupee with the deeper emotional catch of Bob Marley or Sizzla, Collie's voice sits with equal comfort over the jump-up pace of ragga-soca, 4/4 hip-hop beats or an achingly slow one drop. He also infuses some funky instrumental jams where he lets his band take the reins in providing even more entertainment for the night. He is sure to jam all his hits - Come Around, Mamacita, Blind To you, Let Me Know and more!
