The University of Queensland Business Association warmly welcomes our members to attend the third annual Women in Business Luncheon, proudly supported by The UQ Advantage Office, UQ Union and CPA. Following the success of our inaugural in 2014, The Women in Business Luncheon has become a staple in UQBA’s corporate offering, and is sure to be an opportunity for students not to miss.
The luncheon event will be held at the Queen Adelaide Room in the Brisbane Marriott Hotel from 11am on Tuesday the 20th of September
The event aims to provide students with a forum to discuss gender diversity topics and women’s issues in the workplace. The attending students will gain insights from an expert panel who will share their own experiences in different industries, an understanding of likely future trends that new graduates will see in the workplace, advice on how to navigate these issues throughout their careers as men and women alike, and also discuss and debate topical issues. Our exciting panel memebers will be announced over the next few days!
In addition to an expert panel, students will be seated among representatives from invited firms, providing a more personal experience and also the chance to ask the firms what strategies they are implementing in relation to gender diversity.
