The momentum to work, learn, and research beyond a disciplinary context is reaching new heights. Led by a cross-disciplinary group of national and international speakers, Critical Connections invites discussion on the motivations, challenges and opportunities for inter- and trans-disciplinary practices across Art, Design, and STEM, through four overarching themes: Research, Learning & Teaching, Ethics, and Cultural Engagement.

Panelists include representation from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), Griffith University, University of Tasmania, Science Gallery Melbourne, Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art, Queensland Academies, SymbioticA, and Ars Electronica.

Tickets: $95 each

'BioSynthetic Systems' exhibition and floor talk are showing in conjunction with the Critical Connections symposium.
