Do you feel like it’s getting to crunch time?

Remember there are lots of little things you can do to take time out from study and assessment. East West has a range of activities for you to connect with people and cultures.

Catch up with friends at Global Café where friendly Connectors have board games to play and complimentary hot drinks to share with you. This happens on Monday afternoon at KG and Tuesday afternoon at GP.

The social dinner group, East West Eats happens on Tuesday evenings. This week, we are departing from GP campus for Hanaichi Sushi in the Wintergarden. This is a beautiful way to share a meal. Come and eat with us.

If you love eating Japanese food, come and try making Japanese food at the free Kitchen Hero cooking class on Friday morning. We’ll be making a range of Japanese dishes, including make-your-own hand rolled sushi.

Keep learning to speak Spanish from fellow students who are part of the QUT Latin American Student Association (LASA): classes are available for beginners, improvers and people keen to practice their conversational skills.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Make some time to talk with someone who is practiced in helping students out in times of stress. QUT Counselling services offer free consultations to help you manage stress, anxiety, balancing relationships and more. There are specific services available to international students as well.
