Tym Guitars Retail says
With the imminent release of the (Tym) Stranded 40th anniversary distortion pedal on August 1st, we have this very special event taking place in the shop on Saturday, August 6th.

Ed Kuepper will be giving a talk with a Q&A about the recording process of the (I'm) Stranded album with details on guitar tones, recording techniques and general information about the process of recording one of the most influential albums ever.
We will be discussing this with a simple Q&A process with Ed giving demos on guitar as well as going through specific details that only he could have access to.

Ed's guitar work and tones on this album are still, to this day, revolutionary. (I'm) Stranded set a blueprint for so many bands to follow and that guitar tone and the sound of the album in general became a cornerstone for what would become punk rock. If you're a guitarist, engineer or music lover this Q&A will give you an insight into the actual processes by the man who was there, doing it.

It's a very special thing that a recording done 40 years ago in Brisbane that changed the world has come to a point where the very person who's vision it was can sit down in a Brisbane music shop and for the very first time discuss in detail the personal information of this recording.
Ed will be taking questions pertaining to the period of the first three LP's which were all influential to the music world at large.

If anyone interstate/overseas has any questions they'd like asked, let me know and I will try and include them in the talk.

This is a rare and very special insight into a world none of us have seen, and I for one, have always been completely fascinated by.

This will be at about 2.30PM and is free and all ages.
We will be videoing the talk to give access to anyone who buys a (Tym) Stranded pedal no matter where in the world you live. After editing will will upload and send codes to all buyers to watch the Q&A.
