The Elbas will again be in the saddle bringing you the fuzzed-up rockin tracks from their new Album Arctic plus a few new ones that have been sitting patiently on the bench.
Empanic have been gigging all over Brisbane for the past year, preaching their tasty tunes to all who would listen. But where are the bangers when the needy crave them the most? Rics Bar, that's where.

A little more about the bands...

--Elba Lane--
Formed to avoid suburban insanity, Elba Lane’s journey began as basement jams between drummer Mitchell Blyth and lead vocal/guitarist Mitchell Smith. It wasn’t until Kris Griffin and his rolling bass were unleashed that the Elba sound truly matured, belatedly emerging from a 90s alternative music soup. And so, roused from dormancy, a three-piece rock and blues groove monster has been born. If you like propulsive bass lines twisted with fuzzy guitars, smooth vocals and a sweet, sweet groove that’ll have you sinking ever deeper into that couch, these tunes could be for you.

Empanic are a four-piece alternative rock group from Brisbane, their music a product of years spent learning and experimenting as a band, a convention that has flourished since their time together at primary school. More recently, artists such as Muse, Karnivool, Royal Blood, Radiohead, and Art of Sleeping have influenced their song writing as they construct a layered musical message throughout an ever-evolving repertoire. While the three minute catchy numbers hit hard, the band’s powerful 10 minute epics command audiences to pay attention as their drink goes warm in their hand.
