The Milk Factory says
Join Emma Bosworth and Bud Rokesky as they perform with their bands at The Milk Factory on Sunday 17th April.

Emma Bosworth cut her teeth from an early age playing in garage bands and howling with the rock’n’roll best of them. November 2014 marked a turning point towards a new sound with the release of Emma’s first solo album “Coming Up For Air”. A stand-up first solo album from Emma, aka Emma Carton, ere of Brisbane indie exponents J-Pan Fan, and earlier, The Flying Chimnees. “A cracker of a debut album from Brisbane local Emma Bosworth. With superbly crafted songs sung with heart and soul, it’s not hard to see why she is one of the great hidden treasures in the music scene today…probably not for long” 98.9FM, May 2015
Bud Rokesky is a surprise. Hailing from the outskirts of the Mary Valley, the 27 year old uses his natural storytelling to create songs that illustrate his youth, his growing up and his experiences that drove him from small town life, to travelling the world, to returning home and raising a family.

Bud played 6 extremely well received shows at Woodford (2015/16). He has also played gigs in Sydney, North Queensland, Sunshine Coast and locally around Brisbane. He was involved in a collective group of musicians called Museum Collective for two years.
