As soon as the Detroit duo Jack & Meg White, known as The White Stripes, came out with their first self-titled album, we all fell in love.
We could tell they were something special - but who was to know that the best was yet to come.
The White Stripes gave us 6 albums, all classics, and amazing tracks like ‘Fell in Love With A Girl’, ‘We're Going To Be Friends’, ‘Seven Nation Army’, ‘The Hardest Button To Button’, ‘Blue Orchid’, ‘My Doorbell’ & ‘The Denial Twist’. Not to mention, a string of side projects including The Raconteurs & The Dead Weather and some stellar solo records for Jack White.
Their album ‘White Blood Cells’ is officially 15 years old this year (what?!) and we’re going to appreciate the shit outta all things White Stripes.
We have live sets from Horizontal Falls and Doom Mountain, which will include all the hits from The White Stripes and then DJ's playing a mix of classics till we all need to go home.
So, check the attitudes at the door, come down, pass through, say hello, drink, boogie, have a random hook-up, catch up with that mate you only want to see out, or just sit in the corner on your phone looking at Pokemon Go... anyway you do it, everyone is welcome to The Bistrotheque!
