Time Out says

Despite the increasing Brisbane heat there's no doubt that there will be lots of people toting footy scarves come Friday December 1. Brisbane is hosting the final of the Rugby League World Cup 2017 and on the first two days of December in King George Square a lot of non-rugby things are also happening to celebrate the event. Catch a gig by twangy electro-poppers Sneaky Sound System or grab something tasty from one of the food trucks or bars. The women’s final will be on the big screen on December 2 at 3.45pm, then the men’s at 7pm.It's almost as good as being at the game
