Georgia Maq & Bec Stevens Crowbar 18+ says
It wouldn’t be a stretch to list Camp Cope’s Georgia Maq and emerging Adelaide artist Bec Stevens among some of the best lyricists and vocalists in the country.

With a mutual love of Vegan cheese toasties and The X-Files, Maq and Stevens have collaborated on numerous occasions in recent years and will now embark on a whirlwind co-headline acoustic tour later this month to showcase their powerful and raw melodies in an intimate setting.

The pair met back in 2013 at the Poison City Weekender and then “agreed to be best mates” shortly after, as Stevens recalls.

“Now we have super emo tattoos together of a person drowning.”

After recently dropping her onstage moniker of Hyder Seek, Stevens will enter the studio this month with her band to record a follow-up EP (set for release mid-year) to 2016’s More Scared Than Me solo debut, which Maq also features on.

This solo tour might be one of your last chances to catch Maq at such intimate venues as Camp Cope’s self-titled debut album continues to go from strength to strength accompanied by relentless touring.
