Junkyard Sessions: Delahaye, Kosha D, Elkay, M Phonik says

Expect a night filled with tasty, bass business, ladened with the usual warm Junkyard vibe.

Once again, 3D projection mapping will be on display by the very talented Mental Image.

Free entry, no dress code - get off your f*&king couch!!

Currently dwelling the land of the Long White Cloud, the name M-PHONIK has become well known for an eclectic, and downright unpredicable, source of Dancefloor joy… Mixing between Reggae, Glitch-Hop, Tech House, thru Drum & Bass and then back again, the walls of genre’s mean nothing here.

Having supported and learned from some of the biggest names in the business including Bassnectar, Excision, Truth, iLL Gates, DOV, Loefah, Vaski, J Magik, Calyx, John B, DJ Storm, and Big Bud to name a few, and most recently running the Dub War nights in Nelson, plus a solid festival history including Splendor in the Grass, Peats Ridge, Manifest, the mighty Deliverance , Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Happy Daze and more recently in NZ, Discombobulation, Ponies and Soulwares’ Kahurangi Land Opening.

Sets feat Reggae 7’s, live drumming, fresh digital productions and old classics all mashed up inna propa Dancefloor Stylii.

Elkay has been collecting records since he first got into the underground bass scene over 5 years ago. He has recently been living in London where he was able to pursue his passion in dubplate and sound system culture by cutting his tracks to vinyl/acetate. His music can vary from Uk Garage, Grime, Dubstep or to drum and bass.
