Queensland Philharmonia Orchestra says
Join the Queensland Philharmonia Orchestra and acclaimed conductor, Sergei Vladimir Korschmin as they perform a Russian extravaganza. Rimsky-Korsakov’s bold Russian Easter Overture sits alongside Tchaikovsky’s haunting tale of love, loss and revenge inspired by Francesca da Rimini, the ill-fated beauty of Dante’s Divine Comedy. The concert ends with a musical promenade through a gallery of vivid musical images, each one brought to life in Ravel's colourful orchestration of Mussorgsky's music.
