Meet The Candidates Griffith says
Well, it just wouldn't be an election without the Westender and the West End Community Association putting on a Politics in the Pub event where local residents - and voters - have the chance to meet the candidates in person and make up their minds for whom they're going to vote.

So we’ve organised a Community Forum for Tuesday 28th June, 6.00 pm for a 6.30 start, at The Loft in Boundary Street, West End, to which all of the eight candidates have been invited.
We take our politics very seriously here in West End, so you can expect some robust debate and searching questioning.
In terms of format, each candidate will get a couple of minutes to introduce themselves and outline his or her policies, in the same order as they appear on the ballot paper.

We’ll then throw open the meeting to questions from the floor, moderated by myself and Dr Erin Evans Erin Evans, President of the West End Community Association

Because of the number of candidates standing in Griffith this year - a veritable Melbourne Cup field - we can't guarantee that every candidate will be given the opportunity to answer every question, but we'll make sure that everyone gets a good hearing.
If you’re coming along please RSVP.

See you there.
