At long last, celebrated Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz announce their debut tour of Australia and New Zealand, confirming headline dates throughout April.

Nico & Vinz, who had a #2 ARIA hit with 'That's How You Know', arrived in Australia today for a promotional visit on the back of their freshly released EP Cornerstone.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 2pm this Friday, November 13.

Hailing from Oslo, Nico & Vinz (Nico Sereba and Vincent Dery) write and perform songs that speak joyously of life, love and identity. With a sound reminiscent of The Police and Graceland-era Paul Simon, these exciting new songwriters of Ivorian and Ghanaian backgrounds expertly infuse their influences – from pop to reggae, West African dance to hip hop, rock to soul.

The duo’s breakout single, 'Am I Wrong', reached #2 on the ARIA chart as well as climbing to the top of the charts in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden in 2013. Claiming numerous accolades and awards, the single is triple platinum in Australia and has also received 20 platinum combined-certification in Scandinavia, and almost double platinum in the US.

Upon its US radio debut in 2014, 'Am I Wrong' instantly became the #1 most-added record in the Top 40, while also claiming the honour of being the single most Shazamed song worldwide. With more than 115 million streams to date, the single dominated streaming and download charts worldwide.

Nico & Vinz performed both 'Am I Wrong' and its soaring follow-up, 'In Your Arms', at the Nobel Peace Prize concert at the end of 2013. Vinz describes that experience as surreal: “I will never forget it. It was one of the all-time highlights. We had dreamed about it four years earlier, and then it happened.”

Drawing on personal experiences with regret and despair, the duo’s latest single 'That’s How You Know' (ft. Kid Ink & Bebe Rexha) further expands Nico & Vinz’s range – mixing stripped-back instrumentation with bare, honest lyricism to stirring effect.
