The 2 day symposium will focus on building not just the required knowledge of the RTRA Act for property managers; but importantly, showing how to actually apply the knowledge of legislation to daily operational practice.

Stacey Holt will present the 2 day symposium starting from the beginning of tenancy and working through to the ending of tenancies.'Practical hands on scenarios will be used in conjunction with the demonstration of the necessary legislation.

The theme for the event and the future is "less fluff, more fact". The mission and outcome for the event is to educate industry property managers in becoming more effective and efficient negotiators, communicators and educators. This in turn will assist in alleviating property management stress and burn out.

* Starting a tenancy including documentation, time periods and more

* During a tenancy matters including rent arrears, inspections, entry, maintenance, lease renewals, rent decreases, rent increases and more

* Ending the tenancy including the 7 ways to lawfully end a tenancy, vacates, tenant and their opportunity to attend to any matters and more.

* How to find the answers quickly in the Act and what to do when there is no answer (Every challenge (problem) in property management has a solution if property managers know the Act and follow the legislation.

* RTRA Act and QCAT; what are urgent and non urgent matters
