Quest Welcome Party says
Welcome, welcome, wonderful Questies!

If you aren’t already one of us, surely this night will convince you to join the family! This is only a small preview of what life holds as a QUEST member. We’re very excited for what is to come, and hopefully you are too – trust us, follow our lead and you’ll never go wrong!

To start things off in true QUEST style we have organised a night at a Brisbane venue – Friday's Riverside Nightclub in the city. This is a great way to party with local Aussies and fellow exchangers from all over the world!

So get keen - because entry is free. What's more, if you get there early enough we may have something special for you.

Brace yourselves for a semester like never before! So without further ado, welcome to the family!!

Your too keen to kick it off,
2016 QUEST Exec'

Please bring appropriate ID, a student card will NOT get you in! Australian laws are very strict on identification and liquor venues. We recommend getting a Queensland 18+ card (saves you worrying a lot about your passport!) If you are using a foreign drivers’ licence, it must be written in English.

Don’t be that guy (or girl) that doesn’t get let in... check out the rules, and remember your ID!

Dress Code in Brisbane: as a woman you have free reign to wear almost anything, as a man you're typically required to wear long pants, enclosed shoes and often a collared shirt. Friday's is relaxing the rules for this night only, and will accept shorts, enclosed shoes and a nice shirt. But it's winter, you may as well wear jeans!

Use or Google Maps to help you find your way to Central train station or a nearby bus stop.

No matter how you get to the venue, and get home, please be safe and travel with people you know. Stick to well lit areas and be aware of your surroundings (especially after a few drinks). Just for general info - if you ever feel in danger whilst in Australia, 000 (Triple Zero) is our emergency police/fire/ambulance number. Party hard, but party safe my friends!
