Crowbar says
Roundtable are a trio from Melbourne operating somewhere in the realm of doom/sludge metal, borne of diverse influences. They are devoted equally to celebrating the best parts of metal's heritage, and also to the idea that it should evolve beyond the echo chamber of self-influence. They released their ambitious debut concept album "Dread Marches Under Bloodied Regalia" in late 2015 to considerable acclaim from publications such as Invisible Oranges, HEAVY Magazine Australia and Metal Obsession.

In search of a wider national audience, they bring their live show to the capitals of the east coast for the first time.

"Dread Marches Under Bloodied Regalia":

"...this is an atmospheric album, and the word album is used in the truest, oldest sense of the word. Dread Marches Under Bloodied Regalia is a throwback to the prog rock, AOR records of the ’70s that also happens to be laced with some of the nastiest stoner riffery this side of Surrounded by Thieves. The leads and solos here are something else; as winding as you’d think they’d be with the prog rock leanings, but bearing the weight of primo stoner/psych...jam the whole damn album and bask in the oppressive pageantry of the Dark Ages." - Greg Majewski (Invisible Oranges)

"... a simply stunning, well-crafted debut." - Mitch Booth (Metal Obsession)

“Its narrative is engaging and heavy...takes the listener on a visceral journey... A solid album at its most creative" - Kerry Monaghan (HEAVY Magazine)

"I think it’s going to be a cult fav among metal lovers. And I have a hunch I’ll be revisiting it often - not only in the weeks ahead, but throughout my life. It’s just got a lot of depth and detail to it, from thoughtful musicians that make it worth caring about…and sharing" - Billy Goate (Doomed and Stoned)
