Ruckus Slam says
We have to vote in early July. But that doesn't mean we can't get fit in preparation!

That is correct, your favourite open mic event is back in June and just like John Howard powerwalking in a jumpsuit things are going to warm up. Get your voting fingers ready to number some Senate boxes below the line while building up some Ks on the eliptical.

Bring your sweat pants and active wear for this poetry slam workout. But just a note we will not tolerate that guy who works out way too close at the gym nor anything with Acai in it that you bought at Lorna Jane.

Features:

Joe Simington: is a poet and rapper from Brisbane. He's featured at Bad!Slam! No!Memoir, Below Deck Poetry, and Solidarity Kulture Club. In rap mode, Joe has performed alongside Melbourne emcee Kudos and, in poetry mode, is published in Pressure Gauge Press.
You can find him neck deep in poetry books, pumping the new De La Soul single, and eating way too much caramel slice.
