Signal Flare's Christmas Bbq For The Homeless And Others In Need says
Hello all, Signal Flare's Polite Team has the honour and pleasure of inviting you all to our Christmas BBQ at Musgrave Park. Christmas is that special time of year where we all need to feel the love and where isolation becomes most unbearable. For those on the streets and for others doing it tough things are no different. Everybody wants to feel connected especially at Christmas time.

It is the time to give, so let's come together and make this Christmas time extra special again for our homeless and others in need, for those who may not have anyone to celebrate Christmas with or who can't afford to get their kids Christmas presents. So please, come and help us create the best Christmas BBQ we've had since last year :-)

We need clothes, shoes, toiletries (including female sanitary items), canned foods and fruits, and in particular many, many presents for the little ones and not so little ones. Please wrap any presents and indicate age group and sex. Santa may even come to visit us and hand them out :-) You may never know who gets your Christmas present or any of your other donations, and the people who get them will never know who it's from, but you will know it went to someone very deserving and you will know you helped make someone's Christmas. For the people on the receiving end, you will know it came from someone who cared...

Wanted: lots of volunteers to make everyone feel welcome, to spread that Christmassy feeling, to help our guests find exactly what they are after, and to just be your wonderful and beautiful smiling selves.

Please remember, everything at our events is for free. Nothing is sold.

See you on Sunday 29 November at Musgrave Park,
Grant and Bernie, and all at Signal Flare xox
