Soviet X-Ray Record Club says
To mark the release of their latest single since the release of the album 'Wake' in 2015, Soviet X-Ray Record Club are taking their live show to the East coast once again. This tour will see them perform new songs from their forthcoming EP, with dates in Brisbane (The Brightside), Sydney (Visions Wayward), Melbourne (Grace Darling) and Ipswich (Studio 188).

Kicking off the tour in their adopted hometown of Brisbane at The Brightside, this show will be supported by a stellar line-up.

Soviet X-Ray Record Club, whose name pays tribute to the Iron Curtain-era method of smuggling in and distributing forbidden music cut into medical x-ray film, are known for their energetic and lush reverb drenched and live shows. Having had their lyrics published in an international best selling novel series [Stage Dive series - Kylie Scott], appeared on a US indie movie soundtrack [Dealers - Feenix Productions] and shared the stage with reputable domestic and international acts to the likes of Dallas Frasca, Flyying Colours, Hinds, The Courtneys, The Belligerents, New Gods, Mosman Alder, The Peep Tempel and Nantes, they still remain an enigma to the Brisbane music scene.

'No list of emerging artists on the Brisbane music scene would be complete without the inclusion of this band. Their energetic sound is one that derives a shapely contention of post-punk that is coated in a lush guitar whirl of decadence. The virility of which is highly intoxication to hear, but they are deservedly growing in stature on the back of their commendable ability as a live act" - SONAR
