Woolly Mammoth says
We're ecstatic to announce the next stampede celebration is for local, non-profit organisation, The Dugong Collective!

Interestingly, scientists have found that the Wooly Mammoth’s mitochondrial DNA is the same as the Dugong. So, it seems fitting that the extinct relative of the Dugong, has the opportunity to help its vulnerable to extinction marine ‘cousin’ live a better outcome!

The Dugong Collective’s latest initiative is the ‘Redcliffe Dugong Project’. This is a proposal for a bronze Dugong Mother and Calf statue to exist as a permanent fixture within the community to pay homage to Moreton Bay's indigenous wildlife and to mark the beginning of the Dugong's sustainable growth and ongoing future.

Together, the Woolly Mammoth and the Dugong Collective would like to invite the people of Brisbane to join us in supporting Moreton Bay's Dugongs and surrounding wildlife habitats by raising much needed funds and spreading awareness of this magestic species' tragic and rapid decline.

So this month, when you're tossing up where to go for Firday knock-off drinks, remember to raise a glass of hoppy HOPE, every Friday in February, at Woolly Mammoth's STAMPEDE FOR DUGONGS!

We'll also be hosting a SPECIAL finale event on Friday, February 24th with live entertianment and Stampede brews a-flowin!

As the Latin saying goes, "Dum tempus habemus, operemur bonum", meaning, "While we have the time, let us do good."

Now YOU can FEEL GOOD about your hangover!
