Sticking It To The [Straight White] Man is a series of spoken stories about straight white men (SWM) told by a group of people who are not straight white men. How do SWM and their unconscious biases and privileges affect those people who aren’t a part of that demographic?

Three storytellers share instances – at once funny, heartbreaking, angering, and rousing – from their own lives where they felt most keenly affected by the presence of SWM. What are the moments, both big and momentous, and nuanced and every day where SWM have impacted others for the better and the worse?

These are honest and candid stories from skilled storytellers that will show us that in order for the power to shift, we’re going to need to hear some hard truths.
