The Conversation Yearbook 2016 Launch says
Join us for the launch of The Conversation's Yearbook 2016, a collection of the year’s best articles on politics, health, science, the environment, business, education, and the arts (making it an ideal stocking-filler or Secret Santa gift for friends with wide-ranging interests).

*This event is 6.00pm arrival for a 6.30pm start.

This event will feature three of The Conversation’s best local authors featured in the Yearbook:

* University of Queensland Piano Performance Fellow Liam Viney, whose wide-ranging music criticism has covered Tim Minchin’s pitch-perfect protest song, the role of music in Einstein’s thinking, through to the surprising songcraft behind Kanye West’s success.

* QUT Associate Professor Linda Graham, who researches ways to offer kids with attentional and behavioural difficulties a better education – including what can be done when schools try to avoid enrolling children with disabilities.

* Griffith University Professor Fabrizio Carmignani, a rare economist who can tackle complex topics like debt, deficit and income inequality in a way that makes you want to read more.

The panel discussion and audience Q&A will be hosted by The Conversation’s Senior Editor, Liz Minchin.
