The Iron Eye Ep Launch Crowbar 18+ says
Brisbane hometown lads The Iron Eye are thrilled to announce their 'Foreign Bodies' EP will be released into the world on Friday November 18th.
To celebrate this, the band will be launching their new EP at Crowbar Brisbane on Thursday November 24.
The five-track EP will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp + all good digital outlets - Pre-orders are now live on iTunes + Bandcamp, with purchasers getting the previous lead single 'Just Started' immediately.
With Tom Larkin (Shihad) in the producer's chair and Samuel K (The Getaway Plan, Storm The Sky) on the mixing console, the “Creamy Crunch” production of the EP nods it’s head to bands like Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian, while maintaining the band’s trademark sound. It harkens back to the great rock artists of yesteryear, while never seeming dated or stale.
The band have enjoyed a spate of great support slots in reaction to the release of their single Just Started and is only continuing to pay dividends, picking up supports with Harts, DZ Deathrays, Dallas Frasca and Rival Fire - adding to their impressive previous resume - Kiwi rock-royalty Shihad, + Aussies bands Grenadiers, Sydonia, King of the North, Jericco, Sub Atari Knives and more. The band’s second single 'Culpa' follows hot on the heels of cracking first track 'Just Started' which saw awesome success here and abroad. Triple J spins on Weekends with Gemma Pike, Home & Hosed with Dom Alessio and plays on triple j unearthed, as well as spins on Jane Gazzo's Triple M Homegrown, the Ozmade show across the Grant radio network AND full rotation on NZ Commercial station THE ROCK, saw the song take them to new heights.
Joining them on the night will be locals Street Pieces, who will also be also be releasing their new single “Monster”. With the addition of Modern Strangers and Elko Fields this is set to be one great night of rock.

Supports from Street Pieces, Modern Strangers & ELKO FIELDS.
