West End Festival Jesse Witney At Lock'n'load says

After 6 months living in Berlin and Europe, Jesse is looking forward to playing a two set original showcase at 'Lock'n'Load' as part of the 'West End Festival'. It's been a long time between West End gigs and he can't wait to share new music.

Witney mixes Soul/Brazilian/Roots music into something that is distinctly unique. 'A beautiful husky voice' combined with well crafted songwriting, deliver an upbeat honesty and positive emotional sentiment.

When playing solo, he beats the Cajon with his feet, simultaneously creating luscious guitar/uke loops, crooning in English or Portuguese and during singing breaks playing harmonica or even busting out a mouth trumpet solo. He has also recently added an oldschool 80's drum machine to the mix.

It's been a productive time overseas, constantly working on performing and songwriting, and Jesse is back for a short time only, so make sure you don't miss this opportunity to catch him playing live!

This year’s program will run from October 22 to 29 with event highlights, Kurilpa Derby, Beggars Banquet and Fiesta Latina Day of the Dead celebrations
