For four days, Budapest will be at the centre of the international street dance map. Breakdancers, hip-hop and house dancers from all over the world will descend on the downtown Akvárium Club for the Silverback Europe x Cypher Town competition.
The programme includes both classic and completely new categories. In addition to 1-on-1 B-Boy and B-Girl duels and the three-person crew competition, powermove, footwork, toprock and City Cypher will be given separate competitions, but you can also expect hip-hop, house and all style battles.
The total prize money for the event amounts to more than €30,000, but it's worth a visit even if you're not coming as a competitor. Thanks to the intimacy of the venue, the international jury, the audience and the dancers will be in a live, constantly evolving dialogue.
