Superstar Hotel: the adidas Originals experience arrives in Buenos Aires

For three days only, and brought by adidas, Buenos Aires will host Superstar Hotel, a public immersive activation that transforms a space in Recoleta into a universe where fashion, art, and music meet around a true icon: the Superstar.

Much more than just a pair of sneakers, the Superstar is a key piece in the history of streetwear. Born on basketball courts in the 1970s, embraced by hip hop culture in the 1980s, and reinvented generation after generation, it remains one of the most recognizable icons in the adidas Originals universe. Now that legacy becomes a full experience in the heart of Buenos Aires — because if there’s one thing we know in this city, it’s how to dress up and explore.

A hotel where time doesn’t exist

The experience stems from the new global Superstar campaign, narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, which imagines a surreal hotel where different cultural figures meet within the same universe.

Directed by Thibaut Grevet, the campaign brings together talents from different generations such as JENNIE, Kendall Jenner, James Harden, Lamine Yamal, Baby Keem, Tyshawn Jones, and Olivia Dean, all connected by the same piece: the Superstar.

That cinematic universe comes to life in Buenos Aires and invites you to check in to Superstar Hotel, a conceptual space where every corner offers a different way to explore the culture surrounding this street style classic.

What will you find at Superstar Hotel?

For three days, the venue at Montevideo 1647 (Recoleta) will function as a meeting point for fashion, art, and community.

Among the experiences included in the tour:

  • A specialty coffee bar curated by Coni Borrás and Tomi Mafia, open to the public from 9 AM to 8 PM. Because a good coffee is essential when exploring Buenos Aires.

  • An art gallery featuring interventions by Mel Anton and Melon Manga, along with a fashion and styling room curated by Catalina Vetrano. Inspired by this iconic silhouette, Superstar Hotel showcases the artists’ vision of the sneaker. Everything is designed to enjoy the journey — and capture great photos to share on your profile.

  • Live piano performances by Darío Jalfin:

    • Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM

    • Saturday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM

    • Sunday from 5 PM to 7 PM

The result is an experience that blends exhibition, creative exploration, and cultural gathering — designed for visitors to step inside the campaign itself.
