Cape Town Tourism (CTT) has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Air France–KLM South Africa, strengthening collaboration to enhance air connectivity and drive international tourism to Cape Town.

Essentially, this means the two partners will work together to support year-round access to Cape Town, promote the Mother City as a sought-after destination for international travellers, while developing tourism experiences that showcase the city's unique character.

Towards the end of last year the airline announced its seasonal route, meant to run until March this year, would be extended until May 2026. While the route has not been made a permanent year-round offering, as yet, this agreement highlights how the increased capacity together with collaboration will look to support this kind of growth and sustained demand for travel between Europe and the Mother City.
