After a year of being closed, Cape Town’s much-loved Brad’s Grill has fired up the flames again - this time in partnership with the vibrant Que Linda at their new home on Regent Road, Sea Point.

The celebrated neighbourhood steakhouse, once a fixture in Harfield Village, is back with all its classic charm and sumptuous steaks - now infused with Que Linda’s modern Latin flair. Owned by Brad Steele, the steakhouse  initially relocated from 2nd Avenue in Harfield Village in 2019 to Regent Road, Sea Point. It closed a year ago when construction began on the Dear Jean development.

Steele is now joining forces with restaurateurs Gavin and Sean Binder - the duo behind Que Linda and Una Más Mezcaleria (also in Sea Point, with a pop-up in the Time Out Market Cape Town in the V&A Waterfront). The offering at Que Linda, opened about a year ago, has built a loyal following for their seafood paella, tapas-style dishes and easygoing dining style.

Together, they’ve created a refreshed menu that still celebrates Brad’s classics - think fillet steak, flame-grilled ribs and those signature sauces that made it a local institution - while weaving in Que Linda’s small plates, cocktails and lively energy.

It’s the best of both worlds: old-school steakhouse comfort meets contemporary Cape Town cool. Brad’s Grill officially reopened on 1 November, just in time for long, lazy summer dinners close to the Sea Point strip.
