The arrival of the French pâtisserie is causing quite a stir amongst confectionery lovers.
Iconic French pâtisserie Ladurée, founded in Paris in 1862, has officially made its debut in Africa with a new café in the V&A Waterfront.
Offering a curated selection of its world-famous French macarons, flavours include chocolate, vanilla, pistachio and more.
In addition to its decadent pastries, cakes and chocolates, you'll also be able to enjoy breakfast and brunch options, with signature dishes such as the Champs-Élysées, as well as other offerings like scrambled eggs with caviar and Bénédictine shakshuka.
But the big question on our minds is, do the macarons taste just as good as the ones made in Paris?
"The answer is a big oui, personally approved by our social media manager," says Time Out South Africa's Social Manager, Ishani Chetty, who stopped by for a visit.

- Open daily, 8am–10pm
