Acclaimed chef Luke Dale Roberts and trail-blazing winemakers Chris & Andrea Mullineux are teaming up for two unforgettable nights of fine food and rare wines. This gastronomic event will be hosted at SALON, Dale Roberts’ newest restaurant, in the Old Biscuit Mill precinct in Woodstock.
Dale Roberts is one of South Africa’s most respected chefs. He put Cape Town on the global culinary map with The Test Kitchen and The Pot Luck Club, and continues to raise the bar with the multi-course menu at SALON inspired by his time spent cooking in countries worldwide.
Likewise, few winemakers have done more than Chris and Andrea Mullineux to elevate the status of South African wine, putting the Swartland on the map with terroir-driven releases that are sought-after by sommeliers around the world.
At SALON the combined creativity of Dale Roberts and the Mullineuxs will see the pair’s remarkable wines served alongside Dale Roberts’ innovative menu. The wine list for the night will include a selection of rare wines from the Mullineux cellar, including two first-release cuvées from their home vineyard, Roundstone, which have never been tasted by the public.
This exclusive dining experience will take place on Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21, 2024. Seats cost R2850 per person, with limited seating available. Reservations are essential and can be made via www.salonct.co.za.
