Supercar thrills roll into Cape Town this December

If you've ever wanted to take to the coastal roads of Cape Town with its uninterrupted views in a classic sports car, this is your chance. Race Day Events is rolling its signature supercar driving experiences into the Mother City this December, delivering a high-octane new attraction just in time for summer. 

Offering a curated route along the R27 of the West Coast, designed for flow and pure adrenaline, guests can get behind the wheel of iconic sports cars like the Ferrari 360 Spider, Lamborghini Gallardo Spider, Audi R8 V10, and Porsche 911 Turbo.    

Each experience follows one dedicated coastal stretch, with an instructor on board, so you can settle in, push the car’s capabilities and enjoy the ride with full confidence.

The experience has already been going through its Jozi paces this November, with limited dates available and some already sold out. It will be heading down to Cape Town from the beginning of December. 

Spectators can join for free, making it an easy day out along this beautiful part of the West Coast and a standout addition to anyone's itinerary when visiting the city.  

Packages start from R750 for a passenger with a driving instructor, with premium self-drive experiences upwards of R3,950. There are also team-building and group booking experiences on offer.  

Race Day Events states they've created this tour to "make the supercar world accessible without losing the spectacle, featuring world-class machines on one of the most breathtaking coastlines on earth."

What you need to know to book:

• All drives depart from Table Bay Mall, which is chosen for its secure parking and convenient access to routes.
• Sessions run on select dates from December through March with limited slots available.
