This month is a goodie. Not only is it Women’s Day (Sunday, 9 August), it’s as if the sluice gates opened and some of the world’s top acts decided to grace our shores.

Tamia is first up on Wednesday, 5 August, and then Maxwell makes his appearance, also at the GrandWest Arena on Tuesday, 11 August. To round the month off, Teeks and Good Neighbours treat us to a double bill of international talent on Thursday, 27 August.

And in the spirit of Women’s Month, we decided to frame August’s Out and About around female-centric events. Because who rules the world? Girls!
