If you're looking to discover the next generation of Thai filmmakers, the fourth Chiang Mai Film Festival is back this weekend with three days of free screenings, filmmaker talks and special programmes at TCDC Chiang Mai. Among this year's highlights is Night Drift (คืนเคว้ง), the latest short film by Jeff Jirayus Phumchat. Following a journey from Bangkok to Lanna, the film is one of the festival's official selections and will later be released online through Free-time Pictures after completing its festival run.
