Time Out says

Bug lovers, this one's for you. Jing Jai Market is going wild for the weekend with Insects: Nature’s Art Exhibition, a two-day celebration of some of nature’s smallest (and strangest) creations. Siam Insect Zoo Chiang Mai will be bringing along a collection of preserved specimens as well as live insects for proper up-close encounters. There’s plenty for bug hunters too, with hands-on workshops including spinning-top painting, making your own chirping cicada, and decorating insect keychains and tote bags. You can also take home suitably creepy-crawly souvenirs, from insect LEGO sets and vocabulary cards to kids’ activity sets and keychains. Educational? Yes. Slightly creepy? Probably. A fun weekend outing? Absolutely.

August 22-23. Free. Jing Jai Market Chiang Mai. 8am-3pm
