Justin Randolph and Chris Gaertner are singer songwriters who describe their sound as melancholic but lined with joy – which is exactly the kind of Saturday afternoon energy Chiang Mai does best. Their acoustic set takes place in the amphitheatre of Baan Kang Wat, the creative village tucked away in Pong Noi (read our full neighbourhood guide here) from the city buzz that somehow always feels like a discovery – no matter how many times you've been before. Between the live music, the craft stalls, the artsy workshops and the khao soi queue, you'll easily spend a half day here wondering where the time went.
