Chicago neofolk/post-industrial band Et Nihil and Dallas neofolk/experimental band Awen will open. DJ Oliver Sheppard of Wardance and Folk Division will spin before and between acts.
Boyd Rice is one of the pioneers of industrial music, and has worked with the likes of Fad Gadget, Coil, Cold Cave, Death in June, Current 93, and more. Boyd Rice's NON industrial project began in the mid 1970s; Rice later came to fame via the RE/Search series of books and films as an artistic provocateur, performance artist, and cultural prankster. He has had widely celebrated associations as an inner circle of Anton LaVey's Church of Satan, the Abraxas Foundation, and other occult groups.
Rice has proven one of the most consistently influential and contentious characters of the last 30 years of American counterculture. NON is on Mute Records with Depeche Mode and others, and NON is a founding 70s industrial project alongside Throbbing Gristle and others.
