Arm Balances and Inversions Workshop:
Saturday October 17th 12 to 2:30pm
Whether you're new to arm balances, or if you've been gravity surfing for years, this workshop is for you. We'll start by building a solid foundation, learning how to be lighter and float through sun salutations. From there, it's on to the arm balances. We'll tackle crow pose and all of its cousins. Students will learn to safely enter, exit, and transition from pose to pose, and will certainly learn a new trick or two. We will also we will explore a variety of ways to get upside-down. Headstands, Forearmstands, Handstands, and everything in between. Students will learn alignment drills on and off the wall, and with partners, to help grow their practice beyond this workshop.

Rocket Yoga Master Class
Sunday October 18th 2 to 4:30pm
Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and challenging sequence, combining poses and transitions from Ashtanga's Primary, Second, and Third Series. In this master class, you can expect a little bit of everything: arm balances, backbends, deep twists, and of course, inversions. Be ready to work hard and play hard.



Bio:
A self-described "Handstand-Up Comedian", Carson combines his love for being upside-down with his natural ability to make people laugh. His classes encourage students to push their limits and explore their edge, all with a playful attitude. In every class, you can be sure to break a sweat, learn something new, and leave with a smile on your face.
