If you’ve ever spent any time around web developers, you’ve probably heard several terms pop up - like Bootstrap, Materialize and Foundation. Join us on May 9 for a workshop where you'll get the download on what they mean, what they are used for and how they support front-end web development. Come ready to learn the basics, and we’ll provide your favorite local craft beer.

*Workshop it: Bring your laptops. After reviewing these 3 CSS frameworks, we'll walk you through the development of resume webpage using Bootstrap.

There are a number of CSS frameworks for developers to choose from. Bootstrap has become one of the most popular frameworks and open source projects in the world. Yet for developers who want a sleek user interface (UI) experience, they’re choosing Google’s new Materialize. There’s also Foundation, whose mission, as its name suggests, is to provide the foundation that you’ll use to build your website. All three are powerful tools that can be used to greatly streamline the process of designing responsive and dynamic web applications.
