Local Hub Bicycle Company says
Cranksgiving is part bike ride, part food drive, part scavenger hunt, and a whole lot of fun. Local Hub Bicycle Company and Kwest are excited to partner to make this year's Cranksgiving even more adventurous. Participating riders will use a scavenger hunt app designed by Kwest to answer clues and riddles that will lead them to grocery stores where they will collect food items that will be donated to the food bank at the The Stewpot for Thanksgiving dinners.

The event is free, but you'll need to bring a bike, fully charged phone, helmet, lock, bag, navigation skills, and about $15-$20 to purchase food items. Registration starts at 9 am. The ride starts at 11 am. To avoid a wait at registration, pre-register here and download the kwest app here The Cranksgiving Kwest will be made live the day of the event. An Android version should be available very soon.

You can ride solo or with a team, but EVERYONE on a team must stay together and purchase food items at the designated grocery store to be eligible for prizes. For example: if there are 5 people on a team, there should be 5 items purchased at 1 stop. This is a charity event and not a race. Remember to have fun and enjoy being on a bike helping people have a nice Thanksgiving.

All riders participate at their own risk. 18 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
