This workshop will be 99% practice, I believe in "doing" than "talking". I will be sharing techniques of stretching that will lead to a more progressive backbending practice. We will be focusing on back, shoulders, hip flexors and chest with exercises specially designed to increase flexibility in these areas so you can access some yoga poses more deeply, and reduce the chances of injuries. Learn a variety of partner stretches, using the wall, straps and blocks, helping you with yoga poses like king pigeon, full dancers pose, full splits, etc.

A little bit about me: I am a yoga teacher who started my practice in my 40s. I wasn't flexible naturally, in fact I was a ballet audition reject at the age of 11, because " upper back is way too tight". That's why I understand how "normal" people feels, I just want to share my knowledge and experience with methods you can apply at home and during classes to achieve your optimal flexibility.

$30 for We Yogis members, $35 for non members.
