Halloween Nights At The Dallas Zoo says
The most family-friendly spooky place for little ghouls and goblins this month is at the Dallas Zoo, where the gates will creak open after-hours for Halloween Nights, presented by Texas Instruments.

Dress your children in costumes and trick-or-treat at 14 themed treat stations. Catch a “SOARing the 7 Seas” pirate-themed animal show presented by Kimberly-Clark at the Wildlife Amphitheater at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. plus, watch a Booooty Pageant show every half hour at the Macy’s Star Stage on Cat Green.

At Pirate Cove-themed Picnic Ridge, ride the mini-train and meet a pirate magician. Mingle with stilt-walkers, costumed characters, enjoy bounce houses and much more.

The Children’s Zoo will be full of mystery, with activities, games, frequent animal encounters and more. Guests will find creepy-crawly critters like serpents, newts, and toads at the Reptile Building and end the night with a backwards spin on the Haunted Carousel.

The Zoo closes at 4 p.m. and reopens at 5 p.m. Admission is $10 per person for ages 3 and older and includes six candy coupons per guest for each paid admission. Ages 2 and under are free, and Dallas Zoo members receive a discount of $2 per ticket. Parking is $5 per vehicle, or take the DART Red Line to the Zoo’s door.

Prime Meridian restaurant will be open, and snacks will be available for purchase at multiple food and drink carts.
